S06 Recent Contributions of the China-US Cooperative Research Program in Earthquake Engineering

Description:
The formal China-US Cooperative Research Program in Earthquake Engineering has a history of more than 25 years. The session proposer has been responsible for the coordination of this cooperative research effort for the last 10 years. During this period more than 30 US researchers have visited China and established research relationship with their Chinese counterparts (see names and affiliations given in Appendix).

This session is intended to recruit up to 10 papers from the US and Chinese collaborators for presentation at the 14WCEE. Other unsolicited papers will also be considered for presentation in this special session. The only requirement is that the papers in this session should be co-authored by individuals from China and US describing their joint research.
