Arrival in Beijing

Transportation in Beijing is convenient, with buses, taxis, light rail, underground etc.

Bus: The bus ride in Beijing costs about 1 yuan-6 yuan depending on distance. Most city buses run from 5:30 am to 22:00pm.

Taxi: Taxis are everywhere in the city and is the most convenient way to get around. Taxis charge 2.0 yuan per kilometer for the first 15 km, and then 3 yuan for every additional kilometer. Toll fees are an extra.

Light rail: The full fare is about 3 yuan.
